Classic Chimney Services is a family owned business with the mission to provide quality service at a fair price. Since 1991, we have kept central Rhode Island’s chimneys safe with our professional chimney repairs and chimney cleaning. We love and thank our customers for their confidence and support and look forward to providing the same level of professional service for decades to come.
In 1991, Mark Putnam started the business as a continuation of Eric Jackson Chimney. Fellow chimney sweep Eric Jackson then left the company in Mark’s care when he moved out of state. Mark continued forward as both owner and head technician and changed the name to Classic Chimney Services in 2002, in order to promote a unique company identity.
At that time, Mark’s wife Nancy came on board as office manager and son Gregory joined as a part time technician. Gregory later earned a CSIA certification and dedicated his full professional attention to the family business.
Classic Chimney services include:
- Chimney cleaning including chimney sweeping, flue cleaning, and inspections.
- Interior chimney repairs including fireplace repairs, dampers, and connections from chimney to appliances.
- Exterior chimney repairs including chimney caps, liners, waterproofing, and flashing repairs.
- Decades of experience!
The areas that we service include Kent County, Bristol County, and Block Island. We also service most of Providence County and the northern part of South County.
